Anirudh has been quite successful in music with his debut in '3', followed by David and at present Ethir Neechal.

The 20-year old boy is related to Latha Rajinikanth and is the son of actor Ravi Raghavendra and dancer Lakshmi. Being a Padma Seshadri Student, the boy graduated from Loyola College, just as a precaution, in case his music career was not rewarding.

After tasting success in music, the handsome(?) boy is being approached by various directors for playing the lead role in movies. Anirudh confirmed his interest in acting and said, "Yes, I have been listening to scripts but I have not yet signed any movie." An official announcement will be made if any script is finalized.

Anirudh is also composing music for Muni 3 directed by Raghava Lawrence as well as Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's new project.
