Bala's Paradesi, which opened on March 15th to glowing reviews, has been hit by piracy. It seems pirated CDs and DVDs of the movie are in circulation in various areas in Chennai and the movie's business is getting affected as a result.

Bala lodged a complaint petition with the police commissioner yesterday,, March 20th, and requested the police to take timely action regarding the same. We hope appropriate action is taken in this regard and the movie's theatrical business is resurrected soon.
