The latest buzz in KTown is that director Aishwaryaa Dhanush is ready to roll out her next flick. And apparently, she has approached Gautham Karthik to play the lead.

A source close to the project reveals, “Aishwaryaa had narrated the script to Gautham a few days ago. The story gives him a lot of scope to perform, and the actor was happy with the way his character has been etched. If rest of the things fall into place, he will officially be part of the project.”

We hear that this is a fresh script, and a top production company in Kollywood is backing the project. While Anirudh is rumoured to be composing the scores for this one as well, the hunt for the female lead is also on. It looks like Gautham is thrilled to be part of the film, and is likely to sign on the dotted lines. When contacted Aishwaryaa, she said, “Nothing is finalized yet.”
