On Thursday, the last day of February superstar Rajinikanth watched Kochadaiyaan directed by his daughter Soundarya. He watched the film with the key technical crew of the film and was said to be thrilled by it.

Later a very excited Soundarya tweeted – "One of the most important days of my life. Kochadaiyaan locked Appa & KS Ravikumar uncle watched the entire movie and r thrilled!!! :)" Now that Rajinikanth has locked the film, the release strategy will unfold in the next few weeks. First and foremost the audio of the film which has music by AR Rahman will be unveiled sometime in April. The producers of the film along with Sony Music are planning a big audio launch overseas for the film. The idea is to release Kochadaiyaan in the summer months of May –June.

Kochadaiyaan has an impressive star cast of Superstar Rajiniknath, Sarathkumar, Deepika Padukone, Nassar, Jackie Shroff, Aadhi, Shobana, Rukmini and others. It has music by AR Rahman

Kochadaiyaan is Asia's first performance capturing film using the technology only previously used in Avataar and Tin Tin. Kochadiayaan is a unique concept which immortalizes Superstar Rajinikanth.
