Anjali says 'Sorry, I want to live a independent life' [Interview+Video]


Actress Anjali, who has been in the news for quite some time now after alleging her stepmother of harassing her and going missing from Hyderabad, has finally appeared in public and opened up about the difficult situation in her life.

She has confessed, after remaining missing for five days, "I'm sorry about all the recent incidents that happened in my life. I have nobody to blame for it because I'm responsible for my actions." She also stated, "I may have hurt many in the last few days, including my family members. I would personally like to apologise to them…I would also like to thank all those who stood by me and lent their support. I will start shooting from Monday for pending projects. All I need to do now is concentrate on my work and put all this behind me.”

Anjali, who is popular for her films like Engaeyum Eppothum, Kalakalappu and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, has disappointed director Kalanjiyam with her harassment allegations and consequently the director has sued her for charging him unjustifiably. On her return Anjali has also made it clear that she was in Mumbai since she went missing from Hyderabad. It was just a strategy to take a break from her hectic schedule, as Anjali has further clarified. Presently Anjali is working on the untitiled Telugu remake of Bol Bachchan.

Anjali, who has appeared in front of the media after missing for a few days, has given a statement regarding the recent incidents. In her words…

“Some unexpected incidents have taken place in my life for the last 5 to 6 days.In this process, I have troubled some producers, directors and my co-artists. I say sorry to every one. At present, my life is completely in my hands. Many of my fans, my family members have felt very bad at the situation. I thank the print and electronic media for understanding my situation with a kind heart and for being in support with me. I will attend the shootings from monday. “I will attend the shoot of Bol Bachchan remake in Maharastra from Monday. Then after attend the shoots of Balupu and other commitments. From now on, I will fully concentrate on movies.I thank my brothers and sisters for supporting me. I hope that media will show the same support in the future’
