Suriya, Asin starrer "Ghajini" which was directed by A.R.Murugadoss and priduced by Salem A.Chandrasekar was a Super Hit movie and was even named as one of the top 10 films in 2005.

The film was even remade in hindi with Amir Khan and Asin in the lead and was a blockbuster in the north as-well.

Producer Salem A.Chandrasekar has decided to produce the second part of Ghajini. He even requested Suriya to be in the lead role of the second part. And the producer Salem A.Chandrasekar regarding this says, "After Bharath's Killadi gets released we will start the pre-production for Ghajini-2. I have even rgistered the title "Ghajini-2" in the producer council. Its known that Ghajini is one of the remarkable film for Suriya and the Ghajini character suits Suriya more than Amir Khan. He will only be acting in Ghajini-2 and will talk to Suriya personally regarding this."

So, we will have to wait for the confirmation from the actor and once confirmed the official note shall be expected.
