The shoots of Vijay’s Jilla, directed by Nesan would be commenced from the 13th of May in Madurai. Kajal Aggarwal and Mohanlal, among others, would participate in this schedule, which is expected to go on till the end of the month.

Vijay won’t be joining the initial shoot which starts from May 13. He will be joining the crew for the shoot only from first week of June in Chennai. Scenes involving Kajal Aggarwal, Mohanlal will be shot at the first phase which is expected to go on till end of May.

Jilla Photoshoot was held recently in a Chennai studio in which Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal and Mohanlal took part. Directed by Nesan Jilla will have music scored by D.Imman.

Initally Jilla was planned to release for 2013 Diwali. But now it has been pushed back and Jilla will release on January 2014 only. Vijay’s upcoming movie Thalaivaa will release in the month of July 2013.
