It is interesting to note that the celebration begins as early as June 8, as his fans club are getting ready for the charity works. Vijay's Makkal Iyakkam has planned for a grand event on Saturday which will be attended by all his family members.
"Members from his fan club will indulge in charitable activities such as distribution of computers, sewing machines and wheelchairs to the differently abled and other human welfare activities," said a statement.
About 4,000 people are attending it from the weaker sections of the society. Besides Vijay, his father and filmmaker SA Chandrasekhar will also be present at the event to distribute the items to the needy.
Environmental Concern
Tree saplings will be given to all the people who would attend the event as a mark of respect to the environment, says a member from his fans association. Justice Jothimani will be the guest and will distribute saplings to create awareness on afforestation.
Special Donation
As per the reports, Vijay is expected to donate a huge amount this year. However, it will not be part of June 8 celebration rather it will be on June 22.
Rs 1 Crore Charity
Well, he will open up about the charity on June 8 at a public event on Meenambakkam. Reports add that the fans club will be donating Rs 1 crore for the charitable cause.
Thalaivaa Wrapped Up
Meanwhile, Vijay has completed the shooting of his forthcoming Tamil movie Thalaivaa. The audio of the film is expected to be launched a day before his birthday, as the actor will be busy with charity works on June 22.

Thalaivaa is directed by AL Vijay. It is produced by Chandra Prakash Jain. It also features Amala Paul, Ragini Nandwani, Santhanam, Suresh, Rajiv Pillai, Abhimanyu Singh, Udhaya, Thambi Ramaiah and Mano Bala. The film will release in August.
