Vetrimaran, who got Dhanush the National Award for role in Aadukalam, is to produce five movies this year.

One among the movies that he produces stars Dhanush. Another movie stars Goundamani. Vetrimaran’s associate is to direct the movie starring Goundamani.

Goundmani shows more interest in affairs surrounding Tamil cinema than the affairs surrounding him. Goundamani seems to have accepted the chance wholeheartedly because he is to receive lump sum for the movie, and also as he likes the story.
