Abinesh Elangovan of Abi & Abi Pictures have acquired the distribution rights of CS Amudhan's long waited Rendavathu Padam and they are planning for a release soon.

On this director CS Amudhan in his twitter page said, "We should have a release date shortly". Vimal, Vijaya Lakshmi, Richard and Aravind Akash have played the lead roles in Rendavathu Padam, which is said to be a satire as Thamiz Padam that is written and directed by CS Amudhan.

The film that was launched sometime in 2011 is being produced by Dharani on Screen Crafts Entertainment and Sun TV has bought the satellite rights of Rendevathu Padam. Distributors, Abi & Abi Pictures have planned to release Rendevathu Padam after Shaam starred 6 Candles.
