South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2013, is all set to honour the best cinematic personalities for the second time. SIIMA nominations list is announced and it should be noted that Vijay’s Thuppakki has bagged 10 nominations.

SIIMA 2013 will be held on September 12 and 13, at Expo Centre Sharja, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Talented cinematic personalities from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries will be honoured at the event.
South Indian celebrities like Shruti Hassan, Hansika Motwani, Shriya Saran, Usha Uthup, Richa Gangopadhyay, Pranitha, Anirudh, Andrea, Lakshmi Menon and Remya Nambeesan are expected to give breathtaking performances in the event.

Two days event of SIIMA will be hosted by Shirya Sharan, Sonu Sood, Arya and Rana Daggubati. The nominations list has been announced under various categories from all the four languages.

Tamil film, Vijay starrer Thuppakki leads in the nomination list by qualifying for ten awards. The movie was released in 2012. Other Kollywood movies like 3, Maattrraan, Pizza, Neerparavi, Kumki and Sundarapandian have been nominated for different awards under various categories.

In SIIMA 2013, Telugu movie Gabbar Singh starring Pawan Kalyan dominates the qualifying list with 13 nominations. Mahesh Babu starrer Businessman nominated for ten and SS Rajamouli’s critically acclaimed Eega is nominated for nine awards. The winners will be decided through public voting.
