Ilayathalapathy starrer Vijay ‘Thalaivaa’ which already facing a lot problem with regard to it’s release in Tamil Nadu, has hit another roadblock with theatre owners had earlier offered attractive Minimum Guarantees (MG) for the film which was supposed to hit the screens on August 9. The theatre owner have now decided to release the movie on a profit sharing basis and not on MG basis, as earlier expected.

It is said that there was an emergency meeting held by the theater owners yesterday and the issue was discussed due to the delay in the release of the film which has caused people to sell pirated DVDs of the film and upload the movie in the internet. The ‘ Thalaivaa’ team is working round the clock to sort out the issue and get film released at the earliest by tomorrow.

An official announcement regarding the release date of Thalaivaa is yet to be heard from the team. The film starring Vijay, Amala Paul, Santhanam and Sathyaraj in lead roles has hit the screens worldwide last week except Tamil Nadu and has been receiving good reviews from the audience.
