Actor Kamal Haasan is to resume schedules of his dream project 'Marudhanayagam'. The movie 'Marudhanayagam' was launched in 1997, and British Queen Elizabeth II presided over the movie launch.


The historic movie is about Mohammed Yusuf Khan who lived during the 18th century. The movie was to be made in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and English. Then, it was announced that the venture was abandoned. Financial constraints, and few other unrevealed difficulties stalled the venture.
