On Tuesday morning, actor Ramesh Aravind was besieged with birthday wishes on his micro-blogging page and on SMS. The actor graciously accepted all and even replied as and when he could. And when TOI reached out to wish him, he spoke to us for a while, before getting into a meeting.

His big day, as it turns out was all about work and no celebrations for Ramesh. “In Chennai in discussions with Kamal till evening. Thanks for the bday wishes,” he messaged a while later. The actor has teamed up with Kamal in many films including Panchathanthiram, Manmadhan Ambu and Sathi Leelavathi. Ramesh had also directed Kamal in the Kannada version of Sathi Leelavathi, Rama Shama Bhama.
