Shruti Haasan was recently in Spain to shoot a song sequence for the Telugu film Ramaiya Vastavaiya. “Indian movies have been shot in this country before, but we shot at some beautiful locations where Clint Eastwood films like The Good, The Bad and the Ugly have been filmed. Due to the locations, it was a wonderful shoot, despite the hectic travel schedules,” she says.

The actress will have a ‘special character’ that makes a guest appearance in the movie. “Yes, it’s a guest appearance but director Harish Shankar has been kind enough to make it much more than that. My character is a modern woman — not in terms of how she dresses — but due to her personality. It’s the strongest role I’ve done so far.”

Meanwhile, the actress clarifies on recent reports that she’ll be doing Mahesh Babu’s next. “I wasn’t even approached for it,” she says, “I’ve taken up seven films this year and am working non-stop on them.” Also, she adds that she’s not grooming her sister, Akshara Haasan, for Bollywood, as a few reports suggest. “If Akshara chooses to enter any department of the film industry, she will announce it herself.”
