Taapsee missed out dubbing opportunity

She might not have dubbed for herself in any of her Tamil films yet, but Taapsee was given an opportunity to lend her voice in three Indian languages, including Tamil, for the lead female character in one of the recent Hollywood releases. However, the actress says she missed out on the chance, thanks to her busy shooting schedule.

Taapsee says, “I was approached to dub for the film’s Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions, and I was pretty excited at the prospect. But then, things didn’t work out because of my prior commitments. Dubbing is a lengthy process, and you must spend a lot of time on it and sit for corrections as well. But I had my schedule sorted out already. So, I had to give this dubbing opportunity a miss.”

The actress has earlier dubbed for her characters in the Telugu films Mr Perfect and Mogudu, and her Bollywood debut film, Chashme Baddoor. Meanwhile, Taapsee is looking forward to join the sets of Muni 3: Ganga. “I shot with the team almost a month back. Our next schedule will begin soon,” she smiles.
