Three biggies for the festival of lights

Diwali 2013
The Diwali release fever is hitting a new high. The festival of lights is falling on Saturday, November 2. It is 40 days to Diwali from today (Sep 23). Three Tamil biggies are slotted for release for the festival season.

It will be a cracker of a Diwali with Ajith's Arrambam the biggest among the lot getting ready for a maximum saturation release. Karthi's All in All Azhaguraja and Vishal's Pandiya Naadu too have announced a Diwali release.

Ajith's Arrambam has the biggest hype surrounding it. The Vishnuvardhan directed film is said to be an action packed entertainer ideally suited for Diwali weekend. It has been sold out in most areas in Tamil Nadu at fancy prices.

All in All Azhaguraja is from Studio Green the biggest home grown production house in Tamil films. The Rajesh directed Karthi – Santhanam comedy entertainer, is targeting the family audiences.

Pandiya Naadu, is Vishal's big white hope and is directed by Suseenthiran. It is said to be a family entertainer laced with sentiments. And it is distributed by Vendhar Movies who have deep pockets.

However the exhibitors feel one of these movies will have to back out at the last minute. There is only screen space for two big Diwali releases as Tamil Nadu has hardly 700 screens which can accommodate new releases.
