She has had two releases in Kollywood this year, and her film with Arya, Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam is also expected to hit screens soon.
Now, we hear Anushka has decided not to sign any more films, neither in Tamil nor in Telugu, till she finishes shooting for her two big budget period films — Rudhramadevi and Baahubali.
Anushka’s spokesperson confirms to us, saying, “Gunasekhar’s Rudhramadevi and Rajamouli’s Baahubali are both Tamil-Telugu bilinguals, and are being shot on a lavish budget. Because of the high production value and amount of set and CG work involved, the shooting of the two films will get over only by March-April next year.

Anushka wants to concentrate on these films and give her best to them. So, she has decided not to take on any more films until she completes these.” The actress is presently shooting for an intense emotional sequence for Baahubali in Hyderabad.
