Moreover, Diwali falls on November 3, Sunday. So, this would be a wise decision to take the full advantage of the weekend before Diwali at the box-office.
Reports say theatres owners have also given the nod for October 31st release. Usually, Ajith movies have special early morning shows between 4 am to 5 am and for Arrambam too the makers and theatre owners are planning for early morning shows.
The special early morning shows are normally a practice confined to Chennai city, but the distributors are planning to show Arrambam in the early morning hours across the state at places like Coimbatore, Erode, Salem and Tirupur.
Even though an official statement about releasing Ajith’s movie on October 31st has still not been given out by the producer to the press, it looks Arrambam is almost confirmed for release on the 31st of October. At present, the film is undergoing the final stages.
A month before itself, Arrambam was sold out in almost all the places in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and in overseas circuits.
Directed by Vishnuvardhan, Arrambam is a multi-starrer film starring Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya and Taapsee in the lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has earlier given many chartbusters for ‘Thala’ in Billa, Billa 2 and Mankatha has composed the music for Arrambam.
The audio of Arrambam was released on 19th of September, directly to the audio stores. To the double delight of the audience, the makers also released Arrambam trailer in the midnight of the same day. The posters, trailers and audio of Ajith’s Arrambam has received good response from viewers and fans.
Ajith’s Arrambam will see competition with Karthi’s All in All Azhaguraja directed by Rajesh M, which is also a Diwali release.
