Vishal is all happy as his upcoming own production movie Pandiyanadu has cleared censors with clean U certificate from the board.

Initially Vishal's Pandiyanadu is censored with U/A as the film has some violent scenes and so filmmaker has re-applied for censor in order to get tax-exemption from the Tamil Nadu Government.

Today, the revising committee saw the movie at the Four Frames preview theater and decided to give the movie a clean U certificate.

The earlier U/A was due to the action-packed second half of the movie but now the Pandianadu team has managed to convince the committee for a U.

A press statement has meanwhile been sent out, confirming that Pandianadu would be releasing for Diwali. Vishal Film Factory has produced the film and Vendhar Movies have taken up the distribution rights of the film.

Starring Vishal and Lakshmi Menon in the leads, Pandiyanadu is directed by Suseenthiran and produced under Vishal Film Factory. Phenomenal composer D. Imman has given the music and BGM for Pandiyanadu slated for grand release this Diwali.

Happy Pandiyanadu makers confirmed the release date to be November 2nd and the film will be released in around 300 screens all over Tamil Nadu. Azhaguraja would also be releasing on November 2 while Arrambam would be making it two days ahead, on October 31. All the Diwali releases have now got the U clearance and are set to blaze the screens in a week's time.
