Sivakarthikeyan, who is known for his rural roles in Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam, is set for an urban makeover in his upcoming film Maan Karate, which has Hansika in the lead.

We hear that the actor will be sporting a new hairdo, with spikes, for his character, Peter, in the film.

When contacted, Sivakarthikeyan confirmed it, saying, “It’s a conscious effort from my side to look stylish in the film as the character Peter demands such a different look. Peter is from a middle-class family but wants to show off that he is stylish. He also rides an expensive bike and roams around the city to prove that he is indeed ‘Peter’.”

He adds, “A big schedule for the film is currently underway. I’m excited about this urban role after my recent outings as rural characters.”
