Jayam Ravi has said that Vijay Sethupathi found a berth in Porambokku only because he was unable to accommodate this project.

The star added that director SP Jananathan was willing to wait for his call sheet till next year, but he persuaded him to go ahead with the film instead of wasting his precious time.

Apart from Vijay Sethupathi, Arya plays an important role in Porambokku.

It may be mentioned here that Jayam Ravi enjoy a good rapport with the director as he had starred under his direction in Peraanmai.
