The breaking news in Kollywood today is that Superstar’s Kochadaiyaan release date has been finally fixed.

Yes the Co- producer of the movie Dr.Murali Manohar has announced that they have completed all creative component of the film and the final work of rendering is going on. He also revealed that the audio launch will be held in Chennai in December depending on A.R.Rahman’s convenience and they are trying for a pongal release most likely on January 10th. It will be big release said the Co-Producer.

Now this recent development causes a big dilemma to Thala and Thalapathy movies Veeram & Jilla which were earlier planned as a January 10th release. All the top multiplexes and other screen have been told to block January 10th tentatively. The theatres in Tamil Nadu have also assured that they will give first priority to Rajinikanth starrer.

Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan (Kochadaiyaan) is all set to release for Pongal 2014. The news has made the superstar’s fans happy, but it appears like the announcement will disappoint a section of audience.

More importantly, it is likely to create a Sankranthi chaos! Yes, the superstar’s flick will affect Vijay’s Jilla and Ajith Kumar’s Veeram, which were supposed to be Pongal releases. The road for release of Jilla and Veeram has been smooth. Even though there was competition between the two movies, it was said that the films’ releases at the same time would not affect each other’s business to much extent. But now, the news of Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan release has created competition among the three movies and theatres are preferring Rajinikanth’s movie over other two movies.

Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan will be a clear winner as theatre owners’ first choice is this movie. It means, Jilla and Veeram would be getting a very less number of screens. Indeed, it made Karthi’s Biriyani, which was supposed to release for Pongal, postpone to Christmas. The flick will be hitting screens either on December 13th or 20th.

Meanwhile, the audio of Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan will hit the screens for Rajinikanth’s birthday (December 12).
