Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie Jilla, directed by Nesan, has been wrapped and is getting ready at the post production table to hit the screens for Pongal in January 2014.

Produced by RB Choudary’s Super Good Films, ‘Jilla’ also stars Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal, Mahat, Niveda Thomas, Soori and Sampath among others.

The movie is touted to be an action entertainer and has music composed by D Imman. Kajal pairs up with Vijay for the second time after their successful superhit ‘Thuppakki’.

The film will be taking on Ajith’s Veeram come Pongal in January 2014 as Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is expected to be pushed to a later date. The last time Vijay and Ajith’s films hit screens together was in 2007, when Vijay’s Pokkiri and Ajith’s Alwar released
