Actress Priya Anand recently did a photoshoot for her upcoming film with Kannan, and we hear that as many as seven looks were tested on her before finalizing on three.

The photoshoot, which was held in a city studio, also had Vemal, who is playing the lead in the yet-to-be-titled film, and Satish trying out different get-ups.

Kannan says, “A major portion of the film will be shot in a train. So, we shot some promotion stills that will reflect the mood of the film. Also, Priya will be seen playing an educated girl from Madurai. So, we wanted to get her look right. We tested seven look on her, and finally okayed three of them — a half sari one inspired by Deepika Padukone’s character in Chennai Express, salwar suits and skirts. Everything, from her hair to her accent and body language, will be new.”

Even Vemal, we hear, will have an image makeover for this film. “We are going to do away with striped shirts for him,” laughs the director.
