It is old news that the hot and happening composer Anirudh was slated to do Ilayathalapathy Vijay`s new film to be directed by AR Murgadoss.

The film produced by Ayngaran starts rolling from second week of February.

Now Anirudh himself has made it official by tweeting: “Happy to announce that I will be scoring the music for Ilayathalapathy film directed by AR Murugadoss.Songs are coming out great :)”

It is definitely a big moment in Anirudh`s musical career as he signed his first film with a real big superstar. And music in a Vijay film is always special, as the star himself makes it a point to listen to them before giving his consent.
