There is a good buzz around Cuckoo directed by Raja Murugan and produced by Fox Star Studios and The Next Big Film Production. It is eagerly awaited as the trailer had created an impact.

The film releasing this Friday (Mar 21) features Dinesh and Malavika Nair in the lead roles, while Aadukalam Murugadoss plays a pivotal role. The film, which tells the story of a romance between two visually challenged people, has soothing music by Santosh Narayanan.

Director Raja Murugan who worked as a journalist says he has taken the story from a real life visually challenged person's experience. Says Raja Murugan : " Being a journalist helped me as I came across many real life stories. The crux of Cuckoo is about two visually challenged people falling in love. The lead and supporting cast had attended a workshop to make them familiar with how visually challenged people go about their life."

Fox Star Studios is hoping that the film will catch on with today's audiences. Cuckoo is a film which will work if there is a strong word-of-mouth.
