Whenever there is a 'Gaana' song in Tamil films, Gaana Bala will be featured singing, dancing or writing the hit number. In films with newcomers as hero, he has become a regular fixture.

Goli Soda, Nimirnthu Nil and Cuckoo are some of his recent releases. He has written lyrics for a song in Maan Karate and he has done a promotional single for OKMK. His song "Lovely Ladies" for NSM is already a chartbuster.

Looks like, producers and directors are signing Gaana Bala as a package deal where he writes lyrics for a song and does the playback singing. Also he performs the song in front of the camera for the movie.

He has lot of movies in his kitty and 2014 will be a very busy year for him.

He has plans to do a major role in a movie next year. He is already taking dance lessons for it.
