Ilayathalapathy Vijay's birthday is coming up on June 22.

While his fans are busy preparing for the celebrations, team Kaththi has announced they will be releasing the first look of the movie on his birthday as a special gift to his fans.

Currently shooting is going on in Chennai. Apart from Vijay, Kaththi stars Samantha in the female lead role. Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the villain role in the movie. Comedy actor Sathish is also part of the movie.

Director AR Murugadoss is joining with Vijay after their successful outing – Thuppakki. Anirudh is making brisk progress with the music album. It's one of the highly anticipated albums of the year.
