More than a year after the release of Kumki, filmmaker Prabhu Solomon is almost ready with his next. Reports suggest that Kayal starring newcomers Anandhi and Chandran is complete.

The flick has been shot extensively in some scenic locales in the North like Rajasthan, Bihar and Leh, apart from a few places in Tamil Nadu.

Composer D Imman, who doled out some memorable numbers in the director's previous outing, has scored the music for this project too with six tracks.

Their combo makes this project yet another awaited film.

Kayal's music release is expected to happen in June, while the film is slated for July-end release. Kayal has been produced by Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures and the cinematography is by Vetrivel Mahendran. Telugu actor Rakshita has been rechristened as Anandhi to make her Tamil debut with this film.
