Sarathkumar’s A Venkatesh directed Sandamarudham pooja took place today (May 14) at the Appar Swamy Temple, Mylapore in Chennai. Sarath Kumar is doing a dual role once again, as hero and villain.

The others in the cast are Samuthirakani, Sarayu, Avani Modi, Vijayakumar, Radha Ravi, Imman Annachi, Dhandapani, Malavika and Radhika. The film has music by James Vasanth.

Sarathkumar has written the story of Sandamarudham and crime writer Rajesh Kumar has written the dialogues.

The film will be shot around Madurai, Palani, Pollachi, Pune and Varanasi and will be a quickie and is being planned as an August release.
