Suriya and Gautham Menon have worked together for the movies Kakha Kakha and Varanam Aayiram and the duo supposed to team yet again after the director's Neethane En Pon Vasantham.

However, Suriya backed out of the film and went ahead with Anjaan while Gautham Menon got busy with Silambarasan and Pallavi Subhash film and Thala Ajith's movie with Anushka as the female lead.

While there has been buzz on Suriya, Gautham's personal differences, the latter has cleared the air that they are just rumors and they'll work together soon for a Tamil film. Gautham Menon said that he will work with Suriya when the right script comes.
