The role of Ramanujan being essayed by newcomer Abhinay Vaddi in the biopic was much in demand, the film's director Gnana Rajasekaran has revealed. The movie that will release soon had excited several star actors, said Rajasekaran.

He added that their only concern was that after the project, they wouldn't be accepted again in the commercial fold. He said, "Only actors in Tamil cinema have this mentality.
