Post Paradesi, director Bala has set the stage for Thaarai Thappattai and is planning to start the first schedule of the film from July 14.

The perfectionist that he is, Bala has even made Varalakshmi Sarathkumar learn traditional Karagattam dance form for the movie. Varu will be seen in central role in Thaarai Tappattai, Sasikumar plays the protagonist and Super Singer Pragathi will play his sister.

Ilayaraja has scored the music for Thaarai Thappattai, which marks his 1000 movie as music director. Cinematographer Chezhian, editor Kishore Te and costume designer Poornima are also part of Thaarai Thapattai crew.

For the first time in his career, Bala will capture the movie in digital technology. Thaarai Thappattai first schedule will take place in Chennai and the unit will move to Tanjavur for second schedule that starts from 29th July.
