After all the hype surrounding the audio release of the Samantha-Suriya-starrer Anjaan, including the news that Kamal Haasan was to launch the audio of the film on July 22, at Chennai Trade Centre, sources in the industry now confirm that there will be no grand launch.

Instead, the music will be hitting the stores and online platforms directly on July 23, which happens to be Suriya's birthday.

Says a source, "Yes, there was an audio launch planned for the evening of July 22. However, there were some logistical issues to be sorted out. The venue is not a private property and it belongs to the government. We were not sure if the necessary permissions could be obtained on time. Hence, we decided to play it safe and release the audio launch a day later — on July 23. Incidentally, it also happens to be Suriya's birthday and so, will be a treat of sorts for the actor's fans."
