Music director turned actor Vijay Antony’s Salim is slated for release on July 25, for the big Ramzan day weekend. Salim is an action thriller directed by NV Nirmal Kumar, who was an associate to Bharathi Raja.

Vijay Antony’s first film Naan was a super hit and recently when it was shown on television got impressive TRP’s. Salim is named after the character Vijay Antony enacted in his debut movie Naan.

Salim stars Vijay Antony and Aksha Pardasany in the lead roles and has music by Vijay Antony himself. The film is produced by Studio 9, Sri Green Productions and Vijay Antony Film Corporation and is now getting ready for July 25 release.
