Jyothika is making a comeback to movies with the Tamil remake of Rosshan Andrrews Malayalam super hit How Old Are You. It is a perfect comeback movie for Jo, as it also re-launched Manju Warrier's career in Malayalam.

Jo is making a comeback to movies after eight years. Now her husband Suriya has shared more details about his wife's re-entry to movies. He says both of them watched Manju Warrier's Malayalam hit-How old are you and were very impressed. So he decided to buy the Tamil remake rights for his home banner 2D Entertainment.

It was Suriya's idea that he suggested to Jyothika if she can do the role of Manju Warrier in Tamil. Jyothika took two days to decide. Since the character was showing women in such a positive highlight, she agreed to do it.

In future too, Suriya says Jyothika will continue to act provided the script is women centric and if the role has substance. A welcome decision indeed!
