Finally, the word is out from the horse's mouth – Shruthi Haasan itself. It was a long time speculation whether she would be a part of Vijay's upcoming film tentatively titled Vijay 58, directed by Chimbu Devan.

Now, the actress has made an affirmation on signing this project. She has written on her micro-blogging page saying, "I’m very excited to be doing Chimbudevan and Vijay sir's film! Hope that puts the speculation on my pseudo philosophical tweet to rest!" It is worth mentioning that Hansika Motwani will be playing another female lead in this film. Natty aka Natarajan of Sathuranga Vettai fame is handling cinematographer and Devi Sri Prasad is composing music with National award winner Sreekar Prasad on editing.
