Tamil filmmakers are now making efforts to ensure that their films participate in as many film festivals as possible.

Take for instance, the upcoming film Kutram Kadithal that has been directed by Bramma. The film is now going to be featured in two film festivals.

Says producer J Satish Kumar, “Our film has been selected for the Zimbabwe International Film Festival. It has also been selected for the 16th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival. It will be featured in the New Faces in Indian Cinema Category in this festival.” Commenting on the reason for participation, Satish says, “A film’s participation in these festivals infuses a sense of pride in the makers.
