Dhanush and ace director Mani Ratnam will be coming together for a hindi flick by next year.

Director Mani Ratnam has wrapped his Dulquer Salman, Nithya Menon starring Okay Kanmani and the ace filmmaker is said to have started pre-production works for his next film.

Mani Ratnam is planning to rope Dhanush in a straight Hindi film. According to reports in Bollywood media houses, the film is said to be a love story and the director is in talks with Alia Bhatt for the female lead. It is believed that they will start the work after completing his breezy romantic Okay Kanmani .

Post his Raanjhanaa, Dhanush is playing the lead role in upcoming Shamitabh where he is sharing screen space with Big B Amitabh Bachchan. Akshara Haasan is making her on-screen debut with this movie.


Dhanush is waiting for the release of Anegan in Tamil and he has also finished the shooting for his second Hindi film Shamitabh. Dhanush upcoming movie Maari shooting is progressing at speed pave and Kajal Agarwal play female role in the film.
