Shankar-Vikram's 'I' gets Dolby Atmos sound effect; Trimmed by 5 mins

I, an upcoming Tamil romantic thriller film has been in the news since the crew started working on it.
This is director Shankar's second movie with Vikram after Anniyan and the duo is best known for doing things in a different way. Aascar Films is producing this movie, starring Amy Jackson, Suresh Gopi, Santhanam and Ramkumar Ganesan along with Vikram.

The technical crew comprises of legends like music director AR Rahman, cinematographer PC Sreeram, editor Anthony and writers Subha (Suresh and Balakrishnan). I is now getting more rich with the collaboration of Dolby Atmos sound effect, which will enhance the movie watching experience for the audiences. Kayal, released on December 25, 2014 was also released with Dolby Atmos effect and was much spoken about, especially the Tsunami scenes.

Trimmed

We had earlier informed you that the film’s run time is three hours and eight minutes. But, sources close to the team stated that the film has been trimmed by five minutes and the final run time is three hours and three minutes.

It is usual to see movies get trimmed after its release. But, director Shankar’s decision of curtailing the movie has come as a surprise to everyone.

Only a couple of days more to go, to watch I on screens, which is releasing for Pongal.
