Actress Sonakshi Sinha on Wednesday revealed that the title of her new movie with filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss is "Akira".

The project is currently on floors. "Akira" is the Hindi remake of Tamil hit "Mounaguru".

"Say hello to #AKIRA. My new name and new film. @ARMurugadoss @foxstarhindi," Sonakshi posted on her Twitter page.

“The title of my film with @sonakshisinha is #AKIRA which means ‘graceful strength’ in Sanskrit,” the director wrote.

In fact, this is the actress’s first woman-centric film in her career. According to sources, Akira is inspired from the Tamil flick Mouna Guru with the director making a lot of changes to make it female-oriented.

Being produced by Fox Star Studios, "Akira" is said to also feature veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha in an important role.

"Akira" marks Murugadoss's third Hindi venture after back-to-back hits "Ghajini" and "Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty".
