Simbu is teaming up director Selvaraghavan for the first time and audiences have huge expectations on the combo.

This untitled Tamil movie was announced quite a while before but couldn't shape up. Now, Selva himself announced that this STR starrer will go on floors in mid Summer and will be an out and out commercial entertainer with Selvaragahavan touch. It will be in a totally different genre from the previous films of Selvaraghavan in recent times.

Simbu, who plays the protagonist, will be seen in a total action role and he will also apparently have two heroines! We wonder if he’s going to romance them both? As of now, the heroines haven’t been finalised so stories on that are untrue. The frontrunners for the two heroines could be any two actresses from Trisha, Amy Jackson, Taapsee or Huma Qureshi. So who will be the lucky two? One of the Bollywood stars might be on board for untitled STR-Selva film.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is finalized to compose music and makers are yet to sign the other cast and crew. After a long gap, Selvaraghavan has joined forces with Yuvan Shankar Raja for his forthcoming film.

It is to be noted that Yuvan and Simbu too are close friends. They are planning a special song for the movie, which will be a fitting reply to ‘detractors’.

According to Simbu, the song is for all the negative, cheap, backstabbing, jealousy and cunning people.” He adds: “We thought of releasing a song which might help people change.”

STR is presently shooting for ‘Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada’, which is being helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. He is also busy with ‘Idhu Namma Aalu’ by Pandiraj.
