When Sun Pictures is striding faster on the lanes, there is no way that the other flicks can at least have a minimum guarantee of publicity.

After ‘Inga Enna Solludhu’, an average grosser flick starring VTV Ganesh in lead role, Sun Pictures is back into business with Raghava Lawrence’s upcoming film ‘Kanchana 2’. The franchise has already gained its marvelous scope for the grand success of previous installments. The film is directed by Raghava Lawrence, who is playing the lead role with Taapsee and Nithya Menen in female lead roles.

Initially, the plans were to release the film on April 17 by Thenandal Films, but with Sun Pictures getting into the picture, the release might get postponed to April 10. This has turned both Eros International, Thirrupathi Brothers and Kamal Haasan to rethink about releasing their big ticket ‘Uttama Villain’ on the same date as announced before.

Close sources reveal that the release dates might get exchanged as in this order of Kanchana 2 hitting screens on April 10 followed by Uthama Villain on April 17. It is obvious that Kanchana 2 has a great significance of expectations when compared to Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain, which might be critically acclaimed, but box office wise a doubtful venture as it happens with previous works of Kamal Haasan.
