Thala Ajith turns 44 tomorrow (May 1st). Ajith Kumar usually follows the same practice in celebrating his birthday as a ritual.
He never celebrates his birthday in Chennai as he feels that it causes a lot of havoc to his fans as they travel from all parts of the state and country wasting their time, money and energy to see him.

It looks like, this year, he would be spending the time in Kolkata shooting for his next,which is tentatively titled as Acchamillai, directed by Siruthai Siva. The film features Shruthi Haasan in female lead and Santhanam performs an important character.
