National award winning actor Prakash Raj has completed shooting for Kamal Haasan's upcoming action thriller Thoongaa Vanam.

"A moment with the legend.. For uuu..Last day shoot with this talented team of dir #rajesh.. It was sheer joy. Cheers", wrote Prakash Raj on Twitter along with a shooting spot picture featuring him and Kamal Haasan.

Thoongaa Vanam is said to be an official remake of French film, Sleepless Night and it is being directed by Rajesh who was a former associate of Kamal Haasan.

The film also has Trisha, Asha Sarath, Yugi Sethu, Sampath, Kishore and many others to its star cast. Sources say that the team will be wrapping up the shoot within this month and they are planning to release the film for Diwali.

Thoongaa Vanam is produced by Kamal's own production house, Raj Kamal Films in association with Wide Angle Creations who recently bankrolled the actor's Papanasam.
