The crucial all important South Indian Artistes Association (SIAA) popularly known as Nadigar Sangam elections have been announced for October 18.

Former High Court judge Justice E. Padmanabhan would preside over the elections as per Madras High Court orders. The elections will be held at St. Ebba’s Girls Higher Secondary School in Mylapore, Chennai, between 7am and 5 pm.

It is going to be the most fierce no holed battle between two popular groups in the industry . One led by current president Sarath Kumar and general secretary Radha Ravi and the other by the rebel group of actors Vishal,Nasser, Ponvannan and Karthi.

Both the sides have started their campaign in earnest and the fight will intensify in the coming days.

The split is wide open among the star fraternity in Kollywood.
