Although, the maiden production was quite through controversies – Vijay's Kaththi, the production house continues to churn out more releases. They are now on the spree of acquiring the theatrical rights and producing movies as well, which includes Superstar Rajnikanth starrer 'Enthiran 2', which is reportedly produced at a whopping budget of more than 150Crores.

During the interim, the producers are busy taking up many projects and they had witnessed good profit through Dhanush's 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' that starred Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara in lead roles.

They are releasing his upcoming productions namely 'Thanga Magan' and 'Visaranai' as well. With all such happening stories rounding upon airs, the latest news is that Lyca Productions has now signed GV Prakash to play lead role in its untitled next.
