Actor Jai couldn't make a big time with his previous movies as almost all the films turned out to be a mediocre.

The actor has now banked all his hopes on the upcoming film 'Pugazh' directed by Manimaaran of 'Udhayam NH4' fame and produced by Sushanth in collaboration with Varun Manian. Recently, a famous track from this album was released in video titled 'Naanga Podiyan'.

The film is about an youngster and his team of friends who fight against a reigning politician who has grabbed the cricket ground, which offered them a sigh of relief at all the times.

The censor board film committee members have passed 'U' certificate for the movie and the release date would be announced shortly. Surabhi who shot to fame with 'Ivan Vera Maahthiri' plays the female lead opposite Jai and RJ Balaji will tickle our funny bones.
