Thalapathy Vijay is currently awaiting release of his next film, 'Master', which marks the third directorial of Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Vijay fans and the action movie lovers are waiting to watch 'Master' in a movie hall if and when the coronavirus gives way. The film is already making huge noises in the business circuit that has been elevated further by the chart-busting music album rendered by Anirudh.

Even in lockdown, there is a lot of news that is coming out regarding 'Master' and the latest is that he is playing dual roles and one of the characters is being kept a secret by the team. However sources related to the project have clarified that Vijay will not be essaying a double role and will be playing a single character in the film, thereby quashing the reports as a rumour.

'Master' has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi as the protagonist and antagonist respectively with Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das, and Shantanu Bhagyaraj in important roles. Jointly produced by XB Film Creators in association with Seven Screen Studio, Sathyan Sooryan handling the cinematography, Master is edited by Philomin Raj and features music by Anirudh Ravichander.
